Below are some standard creatures that may be found in the biomes of this world. I am currently working on their habitats which will be posted here later so for now I will show what has been completed by far.
These iguana inspired creatures may look intimidating, but for the most part, they are rather peaceful to other creatures within their surroundings. As shown in the diagram, they are in simple terms, living breathing islands. For the first variation, these kind are extremely vulnerable as the volcano at the top of their heads usually lies dormant unless it is impacted upon. This makes them an easy target for larger species or if it erupts. Depending on their biome, they lodge large objects such as rocks or logs around their tail as a method of defense.
This creature is usually found in micro-forests in which they sleep on the top of trees that are no bigger than twice their size- which is relatively tiny. They are blind and work their way around their surroundings using echolocation, which is also used to cause damage when they yawn. Giving the circumstance that they do share owl DNA, they are unable to fly as their wings are far too big and heavy in relation to their body size. Above, these are some of my early sketches in which I did in a personal sketchbook. Further wips below:

Here are some images that I have used during the past week! These have aided me a bunch in terms of creature concept designs and also aiding in colour choices. The majority of these images belong to Pinterest, therefore they don’t belong to me!!
