I found the walk with personality really tough, especially trying to figure out what type of walk I wanted to do. Originally I bounced around a few different ideas: sad, nervous, confident, but in the end I landed on angry because I felt like I could get nice exaggerated poses out of it.

I used a reference from the channel endless reference, which I referred to, going through it frame by frame.

The woman starts off in a really lovely exaggerated pose; however, she never returns to that same exaggerated pose.

I found this the most challenging of all the animation basics we had to do, and there’s a lot I would do differently if I could do it over.

I think I could definitely exaggerate this more and make it more angry. Like I would raise the legs higher and bring them down quicker to create a bigger stomp. I also think that tilting the torso so that it’s angled forward more would have made the character look angrier and more aggressive, as well as a much more violent swing on the arm, which would’ve really helped to sell the angry walk.
