This week’s session focused on one of the most common practises of introductory animation since it demonstrates so many various characteristics of animation, such as timing, impacts, and spacing.
The two most fundamental aspects of animation are spacing and timing.
We were given a choice: to use Krita to animate or to use our own devices if we’re more comfortable. I decided to use my tablet as I am most used to it, but I understand I will eventually have to convert to using a computer and tablet to animate, but for now I will be using ToonSquid.
We animated two balls in class, one bouncing on the spot and one bouncing in an arc; here are mine.
For our homework, we had to animate another ball using a reference for our weight and how it bounces and moves, so I used a bowling ball as a reference for mine.
