During this week’s lecture we were given a quick task to do called crazy 8’s. The premise was to come up with and quickly sketch out 8 ideas for a portfolio site home page in 8 minutes. This was to help us quickly start ideating and considering how we want our portfolios to look.
At the time I over thought the tas and ended up panicking a little and didn’t come up with a full 8 ideas. That and I wasn’t at all happy with what I’d come up with.
When i got home my creative juices were flowing and I decided to try again. This time I did them at a smaller scale so that I could get them done within the time limit easier.
Although it stressed me out the first time around, I did end up really enjoying it. It was a great way for me to quickly come up with some interesting ideas which I elaborate on further.
