This week’s lecture was all about visualising data.
We looked at diagrams, visualisations and how data is really everywhere if you just take a look around you you’ll see it. We also looked at some different designers who are know for their data visualisation like David McCandless, Brendan Dawes and Giorga Lupi.
In this lecture we were introduced to Project 2 which is to create an infographic. I think I’m still feeling a bit intimidated by this project but maybe a bit less so now than in week 1 and I’m sure in the next couple weeks as we explore designing infographics I’ll become much more confident about it.
I think all in all I enjoyed this lecture. I think data visualisation is a really cool looking area of design and I’m exited to explore it further.
