This week’s lecture was about putting hand to mouse and all the different approaches to illustration we could consider.
We looked at all the different tools, first traditional like pens, pencils and paper and the additional tools we have now like vectors, procreate, illustrator etc. well as practitioners of each.
I really enjoyed this weeks lecture.It opened my idea of illustration up as I got to see all the different types of illustration and how illustration could really be anything (well anything within reason). I think it could be beneficial for me to have a go at some of the techniques and tools mentioned that I’m not all that familiar with like collage and vectors. If not during this semester, definitely as a summer project to keep myself busy.
