For this week we had to make a storyboard based on the flour-sack exercise. Like the bouncing ball, it is also a well-versed exercise as it teaches squash and stretch, anticipation, and solid drawing to name a few.
This was the storyboard I drew for the flour sack. I wanted to show the weight and dynamics of the sack, as it rotates through the air before hitting the ground for the second time.
After completing that exercise we were tasked to fill in the artwork of a pre-existing storyboard using the flour sack. The goal was to add personality to the otherwise simple, lifeless flour sack.
Using the techniques learned in class I began to draw my own storyboard for my group project. I think that it shows what I intend to animate really well and will be useful for the rest of the project.
