Animation Fundamentals
I was ready to cook this week, it was finally time to start learning to animate. We started by going through the 12 principles of animation, I was familiar with most of them as I’ve previously researched it, nonetheless I was listening hard because I was excited. When they asked people to say some out loud though I was NOT gonna answer, sorry.
We moved to Krita to animate a bouncing ball. (I’ve since been mainly using krita for my art and animation, learning as much as I can because I think it’s the main programme we’ll be using) I’ve done loads of these so I was confident. I did one on Krita but didn’t save so here’s one I made on procreate; Untitled_Artwork
On the Friday we focused on the Flour Bag. We were taken through an animation of one jumping and leaned to use the curve tool in krita for tracing it. I don’t like the tool though. Here’s my Flour Bag I think it’s pretty cool; Flower Bag
Just realised I have that saved as ‘Flower’ bag, that’s embarrassing, nothing we can do now.
I was hyped about my Flour Bag anyway and went home to animate something random. It absolutely does not chill with the animation fundamentals like it sucks but it says to include your personal stuff so; Demon Alien
