On week 1 of the digital literacy course, we had just come in fresh from the cactus tutorial from the week before. We were shown the basic aspects of Maya for the first week, just to help break us in a bit and to get used to the basics of Maya from the beginning. In class we experimented with basic shapes, resizing, rotating, stretching and moving them around. I got the chance to create my own set of tables and chairs in class.

Above is the practice I had making some stools and tables, accompanied with some cups. For the next week after, we were asked to use Maya to create a set of table and chairs from images posted to blackboard. The aim was to make the chairs look as close and accurate to the images as possible.

This is my attempt at creating the table and chairs, as close to the look of the image as possible. I had also created the martini glasses based on an image posted to blackboard on the same week.
