Thumbnails
Here are my thumbnails I have created to further show composition through tone. These thumbnails are based of my new groups idea for build a world which includes portals to hell from the human dimension from a dingy corner shop. In the 1st thumbnail I attempted a trickier composition however I do believe I need much more practise as it did not turn out as successful as I hoped. I also tried different styles to expand my art.
Larger Tonal study
Here I attempted to do more architecture as usually I would avoid this. I am happy I tried this however I definitely need to work on it more as it is not the best.
Moodboard
here is the mood board I created based on a few of my groups ideas for our world. It includes ideas for monsters such as fire people, our mask ideas and the color scheme which is inspired by adventure time.
Character Design
here I have began to create some rough character designs for my groups world. I kept the tonal work going to improve working with limited colour scheme whilst still portraying the depth and shape. This is a fire person however instead of making the, frightening I have made this character friendly looking as I imagine them to be only of the good characters that helps along the way.
Young girl
here I have started to create a design for the main character. The main character is a young gullible girl however is half demon and unaware of this. I purposely made her eyes bigger to give her almost a creep effect to indicate her demon side.
