Wireframes
I began by sketching out a grid of 20 squares, where I filled each one in with a different wireframe idea for my portfolio. I found this extremely helpful as it allowed me to have a wide range of ideas right at the start, that I could choose my favourites from and develop from there.
Next, I chose my favourite from the initial sketches. I decided on one that I thought was quite simplistic and wouldn’t be too difficult to create, but still had a smart overall design and efficiency in user experience. I began expanding on its design in more detailed wireframes.
Prototype
I took my sketched ideas into Figma, where I began creating a digital prototype of the portfolio design.
