For my Showreel, I wanted to have a good balance of my best 2D and 3D works to display my diversity of skillsets as a Generalist Animator, while also conveying my personality and artistic preferences through the art styles and music choice. The music I chose for my Showreel was ‘Friends’ by Hyper Potions, which is free to use so long as you credit and link back to the original upload of the music. I chose this music because I felt that the happy EDM styled track fit with my cute anime-esque art style.
For my Portfolio, I spent a good bit of time deciding how best to divide up my work, and which pieces would best exemplify my range and abilities for character design, detailed environment and atmospheres.
