SUMMARY:

IN-CLASS WORK: Goblin

Today we learned about how to “remeshes” to create very intricate sculpting which uses a large number of polygons. We will not be using this form of sculpting going forward for our final models but it was important to learn about for future reference and to broaden our knowledge.

HOMEWORK:

This week I set myself the task of completing the design for my Genndy-Tartakovsky-inspired Character Design.

Here I wanted to show off some of the progression from very blurry and unclear sketches to me working out and blocking out my final character’s design. Each step here illustrates an explicit attempt to push the detail, analysis, and thought behind my concepts as much as I could with each new iteration.
