The Pedagogy Subgroup are exploring pedagogical approaches to IPE internally and externally with the aim to advise the faculty on best practice in IPE pedagogy through the production of a framework that supports the delivery of IPE by:
- Identifying the key best practice features of IPE
- Early, longitudinal, scaffolding (moving up the hierarchy of IPE – see other working group), assessment, evaluation, having oversight (investment in coordinator)
- Compiling a consensus of common competencies, values and attributes (broader than care related values and attributes) that can form the foundation of IPE activities (including public health, sustainability)
- Facilitate the generation of flexible resources to inspire IPE activity and make delivering IPE achievable
