Getting to Belfast

Air Travel
There are two local airports close to Belfast that offer connectivity to airports in Britain and Europe.
Easyjet flies to Belfast International Airport (BFS) and George Best Belfast City Airport (BHD). Other popular airlines flying to Belfast are Ryanair, Jet2, Aer Lingus, Loganair and KLM. Ryanair flies directly to Belfast from 12 European cities.
Dublin Airport is a major international air travel hub, with excellent connectivity to the Americas, Europe and Asia. Dublin airport is located less than two hours from Belfast by direct bus services.
Boat
Ferries operate regularly to Belfast from several locations including Scotland, England, and the Isle of Man. You can travel by foot or with your vehicle. The most common routes include Cairnryan to Belfast, Douglas (Isle of Man) to Belfast, and Liverpool Birkenhead to Belfast. There are also excellent ferry links between France, Spain and England from ferry ports in Dublin, Rosslare and Cork.
Train
The Belfast Campus is conveniently located in the heart of the City. York Street Train Station is an approximate 5-minute walk from the campus. This station is linked to Belfast’s Grand Central Station, which offers bus and rail links from Dublin City and Dublin Airport.
Car

Local travel
Belfast city centre is easy to navigate and walk around, however, in addition to local buses and taxis, there is also a public cycle hire scheme with stations at and near to the campus. There are civic amenity areas within a short walk from the campus, including the River Lagan towpaths, offering direct pedestrian access to the Titanic Quarter.
