Hi, I’m Emily Dempster and I’m an aspiring Graphic Designer based in Ulster University Belfast! Born and bred in the seaside town of Bangor, Northern Ireland.
I found my love for art at a young age, drawing my favourite cartoon and video game characters and creating paintings for my family and friends all through my life.
With a love for digital design, illustration, UI/UX, portrait painting and photography, I’ve has been greatly influenced by artists such as Henri Matisse, Frida Kahlo, Robert Beatty and Marta Veludo. The focus in my artwork is colour, using vivid palettes to express myself in my projects and through many boxes of hair dye.
My future goal is to create my own brand, designing and printing clothing. Usually sporting only band t- shirts, I have been greatly influenced by t-shirt design and cover art. I hope to one day sell my own designs and be proud to see my own work worn on someone.
