Storyboards:
I created a rough storyboard based on my scene.
I then created a coloured animatic to see how it flows visually:
Group storyboard:
After Review our group decided it would be best to change the ending as it wasn’t flowing how we would like it to flow.
The new ending would consist of the boy running and entering the tunnel to the sewage pipe underground and then exiting at the other end to meet the girl and rebel which brings back memories from their childhood and seeing a firework display.
Because of this change, I had to change my storyboard.
Updated Storyboard:
I added some colour to my storyboard to help demonstrate the explosion reminding them of a firework display.
Map – Drawn by Nicolle
This map was created to help my group visualise the layout in which the character will be following within the animation. This really helped me understand the process of the character. When you are animating separate parts of a story it is hard to carry on where someone has left off, and i think this map along with a combined story board, this really helps the handover from my teammates animation.
