Overall, I really enjoyed this assignment because it has taught me the basic fundamentals and functions to 3D Modelling. I will be honest and say that I started the year more interested in 2D Animation. Although these past few weeks have really opened up my options and so far, I’m really interested in 3D Modelling and I’m excited for the upcoming content. I also really enjoyed the software i was introduced to, as I have never used any of these before.
I feel like I could have maybe improved some of my models a little bit better by researching more into different or more advanced techniques that would really improve the appearance of my models. For my next models, i want to focus on getting as much detail in as possible and creating better atmospheres/backgrounds as this will make them appear more realistic.
I am happy with my progress, from going to never touching blender before to having a good knowledge on how to build basic and functional models. I will take everything I have learnt and try and improve on my low points for my next assignments.
My favourite Model to build would have to be the sword, because I was able to personalise it slightly.
