HOMEWORK:

This week, our lecturer moved around the groups and I got a chance to wok with another group and a very different idea. I was excited to try a new concept, and was almost refreshing taking a break from the current world I was working on. As we discussed the world, many of us had some really clever and creative ideas. I was very impressed with the different ideas my group peers came up with and am very interested to see where this is going to go.

We were asked to come up with some thumbnails, and then a detailed composition, and using what I’ve been learning from week 1 I was able to create some creative and interesting scenes:

I ended up choosing the 2nd thumbnail as I thought it had quite a fantasy element to it, and was the most exciting out of all of the ones I created. Although they’re in black and white, I find that I’ve been able to create a lot of depth, especially in the first one.
