This week, we tried new exercises to get us used to working with Shape and Form. For our exercise, we had to practice drawing straight lines and circles to help warm us up. We also practiced “S” shapes as well to get our muscles prepared for drawing. I find this to be helpful as oftentimes when I begin drawing I find that my hand can often be quite stiff so doing these exercises is quite beneficial.

 

 

 

We also were tasked with drawing three-dimensional shapes and adding shading to them. As well as that, we were given basic shapes such as squares, circles and triangles and we were tasked to create characters with them.
