This week, we focused more in our groups to hone in our animatics. We all shared each others animatics with each other and we had feedback from Aodhan about where to go with them. Some scenes are going to get changed, and for mine, we decided to add a front-facing shot of the protagonists face after he enters the saloon so we can see him properly for the first time.
As well as that, we also decided to change it so that the vampires aren’t going to be vampires at first, but rather have a humanoid appearance. We want this to be the case so that the reveal can come after the protagonist attacks the dancer so that we can have a shot of them transforming before the fight takes place. I think this was a good change as it adds a lot more to the later scenes in terms of transformations into vampires, like the addition of fangs and ears. It also adds mystery as well as it will make the viewer question why the patrons of the bar look so hateful towards our protagonist, even though they look similar to him.
