Although I really enjoyed doing the sack flour animations, I really struggled with the Animatics.

I took a step back when trying to create it because I could feel I was putting a lot of pressure on myself to get timings right away and keep the drawings simple. I knew I needed more practice, examples and reference. Along with the content provided on blackboard I went on youtube and tried to find good examples of animatics as well as educational videos on timing etc. and looked at some storyboards/animatic panels from art books like Castlevania and Into The Spiderverse.

I think what helped me most was looking at animatics in art books, it really gave me a clearer idea of what type of imagery can be striking in an animation.
