Last week we had agreed to come in to the University for a group meeting, some of the group joined from home. We focused on the storyline again, so that the stoyboards would make more sense. We had some issue with the placement of a certain scene that would act either as a quick set up shot that informed some backstory, or a flashback. We had discussed many variations of ways that either option could work, and we needed to keep in mind the scenes on either side wouldn’t be compromised as well.

 

After some discussion we settled on a set up scene rather than a flashback. We felt this would give the audience a sense of the story immediately, set up backstoy that we cannot fit in, and give some context to why the Fungal monsters are attacking the school grounds, students and staff.

After the adjustment of the storyline – we broke up the story into seven scenes, one for each group member. We wanted to make sure everyone was happy enough with the scenes they had, and that it was doable.

Jasmin also wrote up the information we had previously gathered on the whiteboards into the discord chat so it would be easily read. I added this into a sharepoint I made so that all our information could be easily found and kept.
