Importing into Unreal was another issue for me as my models’ scales were tiny. I got in contact with Alec and he was able to help figure it out as a scale issue with the Maya file. I had to open the Maya files and go into:
windows > setting/preferences > settings > working units and change from meters to centimetres.
Then, freeze transformations, delete by history type and when exporting, also change the units to centimetres and back to automatic. This fixes the scale issue when importing into Unreal and my assets were now fine to scale and move within the scene. I made a new level just for my assets, to get them ready for the scene. It was tedious but I got all models textures imported and applied and ready for my version of the Taverns layout.
