I took more of Easter off than I would have liked but I wanted to focus on my mental health so it couldn’t be helped.
During the break I decided to sculpt the flames. I did this by using a UV sphere, then the elastic pull tool to pull/bend into the shape I wanted. Then I made mini-UV spheres for the tendrils of the flames and pulled them into the shapes that I wanted with the snake and pull tools. Once I was happy with this, I combined all the shapes together and smoothed/remeshed them, so it was one form.
I did the same for the hind leg flames, but also created swirls, just the same as I did for the mustache and beard. Once they were sculpted, I combined and remeshed/smoothed everything out. Finally, I mirror the flames and placed them on the other side of the legs so that it would be symmetrical. I’m honestly really with how the flames turned out as they really look like how I drew them which is what I wanted. I also sculpted some drool on the tip of the tongue.
