Maya was enjoyable to use, seeing a 2D idea start to develop into a 3D form was fascinating. Although I did struggle with some of the modelling at the beginning, I managed to get the hang of it and from there I managed pretty well on my own. When I got into more complex forms it was a obviously bit more difficult, but I was very open with my lecturers about any issues or questions I needed answers for, which allowed me to learn more techniques than if I hadn’t spoken up.
As for the UVs, I think I struggled the most with this and I had to pester my lecturers a lot. Same can be said about Substance, but I managed to problem solve.
Finally, Sketchfab was the most enjoyable part of this assigment I think, purely because it was when I got to see my idea come to life and added the final details that I needed to tie it all together.
Overall, my time management was a major issue in this assignment so in future I should plan better and also try to problem solve more as to not be too depend on my lecturers for help.
