Master Apprentice

Tatevik Anoyan-

Tatevik Anoyan is a freelancer from Armenia and works in UI & UX design, she designs mobile apps and other visual design projects. I came across her work on Dribble and as soon as I saw her weather mobile app I knew I had to complete a master apprentice challenge and see if I could recreate it! I favoured the San Francisco design and loved the colours within it, so I took the challenge and recreated it. I have added my recreation below.

What did I learn?

I am very happy with the outcome of this recreation, I feel like I got the end result very similar! I enjoyed working with this type of illustration, the design is simple but is still very effective and gives a really nice finish. I learned that my skills are really progressing and I enjoy pushing myself everyday with these Master Apprentice challenges. I like this style in particular and I feel like I could add my own twist on it and keep experimenting with other styles of illustration and eventually I could create a really great visual travel app.
