Manifesto Revisit

On Mondays lecture we were asked to revisit the text of our manifestos that we had written and transfer them into TypeScale, here I used the Golden Ratio Scale and I changed the size of the text. I was not aware of how text size could be so mathematically accurate and the TypeScale website made it easy for me to see what each sentence would look like at the different golden ratio sizes.

I liked playing around with the different ratios and placement of the text. I feel like enlarging certain words of my manifesto added a more dramatic affect and really enhanced the important words, drawing the readers attention to the key phrases.

I used Figma to change the size of my manifesto text and rearrange its placement and I made sure that each word was within the golden ratio scale. I found this task satisfying as I now feel like the most important words in my manifesto stand out and it is more enjoyable to read. This task has made me more conscious of the affect that the golden ratio can have on a piece of work.
