I have taken the same approach to my cv for my cover letter, beginning on paper. here I looked at different layout combinations for my letter, to see if I could come up with something unique or cool, to make my cover letter stand out more or enhance its possible design.

What is next?

Again I enjoyed this challenge to think of different ways to layout a letter, again like the cv there are only so many ways to layout text in a organised letter fashion that will make the reader actually enjoy reading my words. At the end of the day I want the nicest layout for the ease of reading, the information is whats most important here. The designer in me wants something unique and different however I think the nicest cover letters are the simplest and cleanest- clearly highlight a professional and sophisticated personality for employers. I will look at some of possible winners above on Illustrator and see which one has the most potential for my final cover letter design.
