What is Space X?
Space X- Space Exploration Technologies Corp. is an American aerospace manufacturer, space transportation services and communications corporation founded by Elon Musk in 2002. this company has a lot of achievements regarding space, SpaceX’s achievements include the first privately funded liquid-propellant rocket to reach orbit, the first private company to successfully launch, orbit, and recover a spacecraft and the list goes on.

I have decided to go for a space/ science themes website and this was a great reference to look at and to include in my research. When clicking through the site I got some great inspo for content layout and disruption. The design they use are really simple and clean, the information is laid out really nicely and I found it really easy to read and click through.
I was also a big fan of the limited use of colour here, I wanted to go for something like that for my website and challenge myself to work in just black and white. The only colour that comes off of this is from the real images used. I also was inspired by their use of photography, the images are amazing and honestly it took me a while to finish scrolling through this site whenever I started. Overall the aesthetic of this site is awesome and I have gained a lot of insp and I feel fired up to begin designing digitally.
What did I learned and what is next?
I learned a lot from looking at this company and its work. I think that their layout and composition is definitely something that I want to go for for my own website. I really enjoyed the overall vibe here. I want to take this inspo and really push my project as I feel it was missing the correct content layout. I will draw up some Figma wireframes and update my blog with my inspired designs.
