Wireframes
To plan for my portfolio page I have began with looking at overall layouts and I have sketched out a wireframe for what I want my portfolio page to look like, I have added nav, headings and space for each of my projects. At the bottom of the page I want to add working social media links too, under a ‘Contact me’ heading.
Chosen Colour palette
Off the screen inspiration
One evening as the sun was setting I noticed the tones in the sky, the blue faded into yellow and orange. I thought they looked great together and I wanted to research similar palettes for my portfolio. This has reminded me to look for more inspiration off the screen for future projects!
All of my projects have some blue and orange within them so I decided to go with a very simple colour palette with those particular tones of colour incorporated in it. I feel like this colour palette ties all of my projects together and is a suitable choice.
Below I have included some illustrations I created for my manifesto, I am fond of the tones within these illustrations and I hope to include them within my portfolio colour scheme.
What’s next?
Moving on I will take this inspiration and ideas and proceed to work on coding my portfolio web page, I will alter my css to cater to my design decisions and hopefully produce a functioning webpage with my desired colour scheme and overall appearance. I will set up a GitHub repository titled ixd101 and upload my portfolio website there. I am excited to display my work and see it all presented together!
