On Mondays lecture we did an exercise that got us to think about planes and layout. We were told to pick our 3 favourite apps and recreate them only using planes in Figma, the apps I chose to recreate were Instagram, Depop and VSCO. I kept the planes simple and I used the same shape for each app so I could easily see the similarities.

What I have learned:
- This quick exercise got me to think about the Gestalt Principles of design with my most used apps.
- It made me see that a lot of apps have a very similar layout and use the same principles within their design.
