I used these references, to get a grasp of what I saw this world being. I used these images to see what kind of landscapes I could incorporate into my thumbnails.
Using these references, I started my studies. I struggled with this. Coming up with nice looking compositions is very hard. As is the shading and lighting aspect. I feel I learned a lot from this exercise in terms of basic shapes and tones to create dimension. I enjoyed exploring the differing viewpoints, and experimenting with upward views of trees and various low down shots
I feel i still have a lot to learn in terms of backgrounds, colours and creating nice compositions. Im hoping to do some experimenting in the future to improve my skills in these aspects.
Although I feel I don’t I fully understand the concept, I am happy with these examples of perspective. And I feel I understand how it can be useful to utilise in animation.
