We were to add to the slides of the presentation as started in week one and two, I was unaware of this as I felt it was an optional component and as a result I did not contribute to the slide presentation. On reflection I would ensure I am aware of the components of the presentation and ensure my work is included into the presentation. I focused on my independent tutorial for the interactive cutscene. The game design tutor examined the presentation and highlighted my slides were missing, he claimed I couldn’t be bothered. As aforementioned, I had not included as I was unaware and was focused on developing my technical skills as I felt this is where they are to be focused. Being publicly admonished for my missing slides increased my anxiety, as a result of this and my autism I felt unfocussed and unable to concentrate at the task at hand, this was surprising as I felt I had done sufficient work but had not focused my work on the presentation as required, I completed the slides and included them into the presentation.

On reflection I feel communication using the discord was lacking, a presentation tab was created in week one, however, after week two this was not used and another tab was created I was unaware of where the presentation slides were being created. As evidenced in the photo, members of the group had flooded the discord with irrelevant information and memes, as a result I was unable to find information required for me to complete my work.

I was worried communication levels were reducing and decisions were being made without consultation. I could not use the GitHub app as my account would take 5-9 weeks to be verified as indicated in the photo and was verified until march 14 2022. I did not speak about this to the group as I felt they did not register any interest in the contributions I had made. On reflection of week three although it did not go as I intended I became aware of the importance of communication and also making sure I was aware of what I need to focus on as opposed to self directing my study to what I felt needed to be accomplished.
