I decided that this week I would continue designing my character for my groups Bioluminesunt World. I had just finished watching the new Pokémon movie and took inspiration from the legendary Pokémon in the movie Zeraora which is a bipedal cat. I thought I could redesign it as as a street fighting cat but then changed its entire design to be more wolf like.
I took the fundamentals of the bodies design and changed it to be more wolf like. I was originally looking at images of real life wolves for inspiration on how to draw there faces and colour schemes but then I saw a character on the Netflix show Beastars and tried to incorporate his design into my own character.
I create 3 outfits for this character and then also did a bare character design, to see which one looked best for the use in my animation. I created a futuristic, gangster, and cool police detective outfit for this character. I thought the gangster and police detective outfit looked to best and decided to scrap the futuristic as it didn’t fit in well with the bioluminescent scene of the world.
