This week focused again on rigging but on 2d rigs instead, we had a guest lecturer who spoke about 2d animation focusing on rubber hose animation. I learned how to create movement using fixed point joints and creating more rigid movements as opposed to floppy, bendy movements. While this learning is not suitable for my group project I feel on reflection I could have implemented it better within my personal development project in enhancing the quality of movement within the drummer, who could have benefitted from the rubber hose learning and the guitarist who I could have implements the point rigging learning to create sharper movements within his animation. As elements were assigned for the group work project we mainly worked independently on our elements. Communication was maintained through discord. I focused on creating a damaged spaceship and developing 5 broken parts from the spaceship to be collected as part of the game alongside the repaired spaceship to be unveiled at the end of the game.
