This week we were asked to “Create 6 thumbnail value studies in your world – consider the value range you use. ” so I simplified the process and picked my favourite 6 thumbnails from my original 12. I then finished adding colour to all the thumbnails and then added tone and value to all 6, I now feel the completed 6 final outcomes look better finished.
The Second part of the task had us “Pick your favourite thumbnail study and illustrate a larger / longer focus study combining composition & tonality” So I took the Futuristic city and placed it inside a space colony, then focused on what else the space colony would have; Like a docking port for ships and solar reactors to power the colony.
This weeks third task was to do up more character and prop designs for the new groups we were put in. So I was put The Star Constellation group and I created a character based on the Draco constellation.
