Animated Short Film Analysis – Grouping

This week we were put into our teams for the short film analysis. After doing a small game we were each given our team members and joined up. Then everyone watched the different animated shorts.
Our movie was “Attack of the Potato Clock”, a horror comedy short. We didn’t get a lot talked about in class, we had a member missing. But we did set up a Discord server to talk and discuss points.

I thought the movie was very funny while still using a lot of horror tropes effectively. The use of blades and knives helps make the audience think of the possible danger, and although the design is intentionally silly the voice effects help make it seem like a proper monster.
