Overview

On week 10 of the animation studio module we were taught about secondary actions which is an action which takes place during the main action but follows through after the main action is finished. We practiced creating secondary actions on the flour sack file our lecturer supplied for us then creating a hairstyle for the sack and animating it reacting to the movement of the flour sack.

We also took this week to work on the fixes/alterations for our animatics and refining the details on it as well as began to add more fluid motion into them in preparation for animating the finished piece. We were also given a demonstration of how to get cleaner line art and how to colour our frames although I personally don’t have any examples of this as I haven’t experimented with the methods discussed here although I do have a more refined version of the animatic to show.
