Once I had created the textures and normal maps for my project, I then moved onto the rigging process. This was quite simple in principle but I found various obstacles that I had to overcome with Blender in terms of mirroring the armature and parenting all separate meshes to certain bones within said armature to ensure the character model would move correctly to allow me to pose it.
Eventually after much Trial and Error I managed to get the armature developed and parented to my character model and adjusted the weight-painting to ensure the armature would manipulate the mesh correctly and this I then exported the posed mesh as an FBX. This also was a slightly difficult process too as I was finding it hard to apply the armature modifiers to the character mesh so that it would export in the posed format, this took several attempts to accomplish and it was quite frustrating but eventually after adjusting several settings I was able to apply the armature modifier and it exported my Posed character model perfectly.
