For Week 5, I was introduced to Adobe Substance Painter and had to texture a War hammer with substance painter. Unlike Blender, its properties where rather difficult to get used to and I found the use of masks to be rather difficult first time around, it took a lot of trial and error to understand how Substance Painter’s masking mechanic functions as well as create a texture pattern I was Happy with. But, due to the war hammer being unwrapped correctly, the many materials used in the texturing process did apply very well to the model, following this the textures were baked and extorted to a file to then be applied in Blender to which the results are presented below.
