In the process of making the business card, it was a great opportunity to professionally understand the sharing of the portfolio and also the showreel in a basic and professional way. To be able to do the business card process, I used Photoshop to be able to make the edits and add the information to have it in the information section.

In my card design, I tried to create a cuter style with a more fun format to look at. To get some ideas, I used Pinterest, which helped me a lot with the ideas so I could prepare a style. So I started making some edits that best suited me. In the card design, I wanted to create a style that matched my CV with the same colors and a similar style, as if I were joining the two items on my card. With the logo, I used a model I made of my cartoon with the intention of showing that my focus is to work with generalist 3D that focuses on the 3D world. On the front of the card, and on the back of the card, the focus is to use a QR code that makes it easier to visit the portfolio.

In the first business card format I tried to use a rectangular format but due to the preparation time I made a basic square format which also looked very good in the end.

With the card design already finalized before sending it to the printing location, I tried to send it to get feedback to see if it looked good before printing. After having everything ready and with the final design, I had some small problems that I had to modify, such as the format of the card because it took longer to print and also with the QR that I had to redo online, so I had to change the designer in the QR because it was no longer working, but after some processes I improved and managed to finish making the card. I started printing and finished this process.

Display Process:
With the process of making the display, our group started organizing the details and adding the elements that we would use on our table. Each person in the group was responsible for bringing an item for our display. Zoe was responsible for bringing some ledes with fake ice to put in our beer bucket, Corey brought the beer bottles and I brought the tablecloth with the artbook. Each person brought the items to put in the decoration, but in the end we had to look for more items to improve the decoration.

While preparing the table, we were always talking and having ideas about how we would send the designer of our table. This preparation process was very good for the creative part, also working with the publicity part of our short film for the communication and publication part. I enjoyed working with this part, but it was very different because my art style is different, with a more delicate, cute style and neutral colors. But working with this style of our short film was a different experience to help with the creative part.

Building The Table:

I didn’t have many difficulties in preparing the Showreel. To make my showreel I used some of my individual projects and also models that I did on my own. I really enjoyed having this opportunity to make a showreel, so I was able to gain more professional knowledge and ideas to show my models. To make my Showreel I used After Effect which was a great help in the process of editing the scenes and importing the images that would be used, my showreel was to make a basic style but that could show both sides of the animation and 3D modeling in a short video.
