Portfolio & CV Process:

When preparing the portfolio, to publish and showcase my projects, I used the Artstation network, which is being used as my portfolio. By researching some artist profiles, I found inspiration and focused on the details that most caught my attention in the design styles that I liked the most. The style that I like to work with the most is the cartoon format, which has more colors and different elements.

Portfolio example:

In the midst of various searches, I ended up finding some artist styles where I identified a lot with the publication design of their projects.

So I also started to take a look at some companies that work with modeling and animation design more focused on children, my plan is to be able to work with 3D Generalist for children or families with a more fun and cool style for the whole audience!

with the process of searching for professions and the basis of how artists show their projects on online sites, to help me research jobs I used three companies that search for companies that also served as support to be an online portfolio of animations and modeling. My future focus is to be able to focus more on the area of Generalist 3D with modeling practices and also have a little more practice in animation.

So the websites I used to help me find work were LinkedIn, Indeed and Artstation. Having these accounts as a work network was great for helping me get more ideas for different areas of work as an animator or digital modeling. Through this research I was able to get more professional insights into how 3D artists present their short films, the organization of projects, promotion, visual communication and help me find my own style of animation and modeling.

My Portfolio:

After some time I tried to improve the older style I had with a logo that had nothing to do with my personality and style. One of the networks I’m using as a portfolio is ArtStation where I started to modify some details and organize the publications by editing and improving some of the models I had already made before and as a logo I used a caricature of myself in cartoon with the design that I find most interesting.

Process after modeling my caricature I started doing some effects in Photoshop to be able to improve my modeling a little more.

However, after some modifications and changes, my portfolio gradually became a little more professionally organized with my 3D projects. Throughout the process of creating the portfolio, I didn’t have many doubts because I had already had the projects and also an account on Artstation. In this process now, I just had to reorganize, update the information and visually improve my portfolio, giving it a style that I really liked.

CV Process:

To prepare my CV, I started by doing some research to improve the information I had. To help me, I used some research and YouTube tutorials that helped me a lot in improving my CV.

My old CV was a bit more basic, simple, with information that wasn’t very relevant along with a style that didn’t visually attract the public’s attention. My idea was to improve my CV by using colors that interested me the most, such as neutral colors like beige, light blue, purple, white, fonts with a bold, fun and friendly style — perfect for giving it personality, updating my information, changing some information, etc.

Inspirations:

In the ideas I wanted a more modern style but with a cuter format, working with the same style as my portfolio in the visual part and also in the colors. For the colors I wanted to use more neutral, light colors and to help me I used an Adobe color guide to guide me in the colors.

After having some ideas, I started preparing my CV. I started by making the first idea of how I imagined it the way I wanted it, in a cute style but being modern.

After making the first update of the CV, I sent it to Mike to get quick feedback to see if the process was going well. I received positive feedback, so I started to improve some more elements and, together with the font part.
