Large Illustration for Zine
For my final image of page nine of my zine I wanted to include similar colours and line art in one of my previous illustrations, as I found this commination worked well. For this illustration I wanted to take the viewer to an abstract place, and capture the dog’s imagination and moment in their happy place after their
eating food. Below are my experiments.
In this design I thought that the dog resembled too much of a Labrador rather than a sausage dog.
Experimenting with Patterns
I noticed that the pink background and dog did not work well at all. The dog got lost too much in the background and It wasn’t achieving the bright contrast I wanted.
This is definitely my favourite colour combination. I think the contrast between pink, blue and green works out nicely.
