I created another ruff digital sketch for page 7 of my zine. I wanted to capture a 60s/70s household with the funky designs, furniture, pattern and colours. I also wanted to place hints at the women’s work force which was becoming way more popular at the time. I create a female character with a tie and work paints, which was a very popular office outfit for women in the 1970s. Below is my first idea for this scene in my sketchbook.
For this design I noticed that the pink background took away from the pink dog. So I decided to change this.
I found that the light blue background worked much more effectively from the rules of perspective for example the background, midground and foreground.
