I moved to blender and began my character design for the duck.
I focused on these to ducks as reference, I liked the shape of the first duck and the idea of two wheels for the second
it took a while to figure out the shape and I finally remembered to use proportional editing when making the shape as my previous attempts had very uneven and odd planes. I downloaded an add-on called Cracks and Damages to try to add damage without sculpting because I wanted to avoid retopologising in this project to save time. I might give it a go as this character isn’t as complex as our past character design.
I wasn’t a fan of these designs so I kept making new models until I eventually landed on a final design.
I created this duck, it was fixed and had no damage. I really liked this duck, it was exactly what I wanted but now I just had to add damage, and make it fit into the aesthetic of the room.
I asked my group for feedback and was advised to have less detail as we were trying to keep It simple. I added cracks through the substance but the colour was from the blender to keep it simple. I was really happy with this duck. The duck followed my design bar the wee; which I was really happy about.
