This week in class I learnt about character design and what shapes would be used for different types of characters. I found this very interesting but still frustrating as I am not yet the best at character design. I was given a group of squiggles and had to draw characters from these shapes. This was a fun project but definitely difficult because I kept looking at others work.
Next, I had to redraw some famously shaped celebrities and give them my own twist. I enjoyed this project as I was free to draw what I wanted and liked the before sketches. I drew the characters from triangles, rectangles, and circles. It was a difficult process but it made me want to practice drawing figures an faces a lot more.
