This week for homework we had to take a pre-drawn picture and add a light source using colour.
I started by adding a light source in blue to give myself an idea of how I wanted the light to fall on the objects. I found getting the light source correct a bit difficult and still am not 100% sure if I did it correctly but I really enjoyed this homework and found it rewarding.
I think my mountains in the background need a bit of work and I’m not sure if my cliff face is shaded correctly but I think it looks good otherwise. I used a different layer per colour block. and only used three shades per block, light, dark, and medium.
