This week for our homework we had to create a tie fighter from star wars on blender. Once I saw this week’s homework task I was so excited to get started.

I thoroughly enjoyed the process of this animation but I did run into some difficulties as well.  I found the window to be a hard task, it became lumpy and soft looking but after adding a sphere behind it seemed to fix its appearance slightly.

I have never personally seen star wars but this was a very rewarding homework task. when it came to adding the curve for the ship to fly around on, my ship would not connect. The tie fighter would suddenly disappear on me or refuse to follow the curve for the animation but eventually, I figured out that I had it on the wrong axis, and once changed my problem was sorted.

I am still not entirely sure n how to render and download animations on blender so I downloaded an app and tried my best to get a clip of it animating.

In the future, I would like to create a light source coming from a star instead of it following the ship around and add a background or even make my own that would appear in the animation when saved.
