Our initial planning and idea sharing in class.
I spent most of my research time looking at Toy Story characters for inspiration and reference. Unfortunately Toy Story didn’t have any car reference that I liked and so I used the film cars as I was looking for an old fashioned classic car to give the toy a bit of charm. I particularly liked the character Derek Dobbs modelled after the bel air car.

I made my car with a simple mesh while using a sub-division modifier to capture the smooth edges of the car.
